Wyome Dion

Wyome Dion is from Kehewin Cree Nation, where she lives with her fiancé and two beautiful children. Wyome received her Diploma of Social Work, Indigenous Bachelor of Social Work and currently enrolled in the Indigenous Master of Social Work at University nuhelot’įne thaiyots’į nistameyimâkanak Blue Quills. Wyome’s work experience has been mostly in the justice field with Victim Services and the development of the Healing to Wellness Court initiative within the St. Paul provincial court. Her research and practice is rooted in ceremony and Indigenous worldview. Wyome’s passion throughout her educational journey is advocating for alternatives to justice that promotes individual, family and community healing.
