China Sieger

China has served in the restorative justice (RJ) field in Alberta for 15 years, starting as a volunteer facilitator in 2009. Currently with Alberta Justice as a Community and Program Liaison, China works with the team that supports community justice programs, inclusive of RJ, doing important work around the province. She brings to this role 9 years’ experience developing and leading Peace Regional Restorative Justice, a community-based RJ program in Peace River, Alberta. China studied Anthropology in BC and New Zealand and completed Simon Fraser University’s Restorative Justice Certificate. Her work in the field has included facilitating, training, and mentoring, and she has been gifted with guidance and teachings from many wise and generous individuals, Elders, and communities throughout her RJ journey.
